The Cake Lady Blog and Live Streams coming soon!
You may also know me as The Cake Lady, the stylish *doyenne of edible arts*. But that’s just one of the many aspects of Dançoise!
Edible art is a creative vehicle for my passion to connect people and inspire them to achieve their dreams. Achievement is like a multi-tiered cake - and there are no limits to how high you can go!
Who is Dançoise?
Hailing from Southern California and now based in Zürich, I am an inspirational speaker, media personality, motivational business leader, and trailblazer for black women to combine ambition and success with heart and soul in every facet of their lives. To create richly is also to give richly.
THE "CAKE LIFE & STYLE" SHOW
Don't you dare miss the Dubai episode. Three words, "camel desert oasis"!
The Cake Lady is always on the move, so she began filming "Dancoise Cake Life & Style" to bring you on her journey of world travel and cake. Dancoise loves travel so much in fact that she's also launched a whole website dedicated to encouraging people to live their best "Travel Cake Life" at www.travelcakelife.com.
THE CAKE LADY BECOMES "THE MODEL"
Thank you to these wonderful photographers Mariana Cuervo and Ellin Anderegg.
Photoshoots? Fashion? Beauty? Yes Please!
The Cake Lady loves a photo shoot and what a fun time it was to enjoy these two shoots modeling in Zurich, Switzerland and Mendoza, Argentina.
THE CAKE LADY GOES "OUTSIDE THE BOX"
"What if I made a campaign for my male audience?"
The Cake Lady is always thinking of ways to be creative and put a new spin on things, so when she noticed that a large portion of her clientele is Porsche driving corporate execs, it was time to get creative. "What if I made a campaign for the guys," she thought, "what if I focus on some of the real things we do when cake decorating and just exaggerate a bit." Things got reaaaally interesting and...a little bit sexy too.
Black Owned Ambition
My aim is to encourage others as a change agent within the edible arts industry, and beyond- into communities, and re-writing the narrative for young women of color so that ambition is the norm and positive achievement is the goal. We all start from somewhere! The Cake Lady began in the basement of our family home and is always growing.
Charity and Community Outreach
I am a committed supporter of charities in Switzerland; most notably Room to Read and several other corporate clients' charities. Build Berdo - “When You Know Better, You Do Better”
In my hometown of San Bernardino, CA, I am creating my own movement - *Build Berdo* - which focuses on helping black teenagers push through the glass ceiling of their environment, into the strata of endless possibilities that exist beyond the walls of their neighborhoods.
Build Berdo is a transformational program that sparks curiosity, encourages students to focus on their education and create prosperity for themselves. Quite simply, “when you know better, you do better."
